Tudi dolgoročno uživanje destilirane vode nima škodljivih posledic za telo, saj se opita voda v želodcu hipoma pomeša z želodčnim sokom. Ko pride v stik s celicami organizma, torej nima več osmotskega učinka nanje. Koža in sluznica, ki prideta v stik z destilirano vodo, sta odporni na osmotski učinek. Edino nevarnost za telo predstavlja destilirana voda, če pride neposredno v krvni obtok (npr. z infuzijo). V tem primeru krvne celice počijo (pride do hemolize) zaradi hipotoničnosti destilirane vode; manjši osmotski tlak destilirane vode povzroči vdiranje vode v celice do te mere, da celične membrane počijo.

Ne poznajem nikog tko ima aparat, niti znam za neko mjesto na kojem se može kupiti (destilirana voda za piće). Možda se može (prethodno) degustirati od onog dobavljača iz RH. Bilo bi ga dobro pitati.
Do tada, proučavam što o njoj (i nj okusu) pišu po stranim forumima i istražujem za/protiv informacije. Kažu da je bezokusna. Trenutno me više zaokuplja ovo drugo - utjecaj dugotrajne konzumacije na zdravlje. Želim biti potpuno sigurna da je to (s te strane) "prava stvar" prije nego odlučim za "koji aparat".
